Residential Pickup

We’re excited to announce LOCAL GLASS PICK-UP to our neighbors in Alexandria & Pineville!

How it works

We’re proud to offer curbside residential glass pick up in the Alexandria & Pineville area! Note: This EXPANDED PILOT program begins with Alexandria & Pineville area residents and–with success–will be extended to neighboring communities. Residents can consider their monthly subscription as both payment for a useful service and a monetary donation to support the sustainability of Glass Act Recycling.

4 Simple Steps:

You sign up using the button below and enroll in a monthly glass pickup subscription for $25/month. Your payment (processed via Stripe) will be auto-drafted once a month to the card on file.
We drop off a yellow recycling bin at your house that you can fill with your recyclable glass bottles and jars (anything that once had food or beverages in it is recyclable!). Check the FAQs for more information.
We send you a notification that pickup day is drawing near and remind you to set out your bin on the curb.
You set the bin at the curb either LATE the night before or EARLY the morning-of the 2nd WEDNESDAY of the month. We pick up the bin that day and leave another yellow bin behind for the next month’s pickup date.

It’s that easy! Click the signup button below to get started.
